Word Wow is a word game where you make words to dig deeper into the ground. As you dig down, the worm will follow until you can guide him to the bottom before time runs out. You need to be able to make words quickly (although a no-timer mode is available) to string together bonuses, as well as just to clear the path.
If you find the worm to be stuck and you cant come up with any words, you can use a bomb to clear some of the tiles. You have a limited number of bombs, but you can earn more as you make more words. As the worm moves down the board, more letters become available.
Each level has at least 1 hidden gem, and if you can find all the gems in all the levels of a world, a bonus level is opened where you can really rack up the points!
The bigger the words that you can make the more points youll earn. Try and make enough points each level to earn all three stars.
Word Wow will sharpen your brain as well as your reflexes. Help a worm out!

Ive had an apple device for almost 10 years. This is the first app I actually liked enough to buy the full version!
Upper levels are especially difficult, but can be mastered. Lots of fun; Im hooked!
I really like this game because its continuous. I play much longer than I do other games even after their lives have recharged.
However, I cannot figure out how to earn diamonds. The instructions are not specific enough.
This will not accept any negative reviews. I am using the paid version.
Cant get enough of Word Wow! Fun and easy to play! Cant wait for even more levels!
Its a clever twist on letter-clearing games, but its let down by slow load times between screens (and those are made even slower by the full-screen iAds!). I encourage you to try it, though.
Some bad moments
The game is fun but the free version is only 10 levels. Lame.
I love this game, but when my daughter paid to upgrade from free to paid, they took our money but didnt unlock or change anything. Has this happened to anyone else? Dont really want to pay again--not sure what else we can do. Sad.
Got the free version first. Liked it but limited you to so many games before it made you pay. Paid for the "full" version and it too is limited. Took me about 1 hr a day for a week to complete it. Now it is just a stale app
Issues I had with the game:
missing letters on tiles - so you could not finish board
Unable to click on letters.
Both happened on more than one game board. And levels
Liked it. Just limited and for a week of play not worth it
Only until level ten is free!?!? You need to buy the game if you want to continue to the next level!
What a frustrating game. It worked fine for awhile and then it closes off right in the middle of a game. Even after the update it still closes out.
Great way to keep the vocabulary sharp when we are out of school for the summer.
